JUSTIN BIEBER FACING JAIL TIME (or at least that's what I read on some website)...ALSO, How to Fight the Good Fight (and why we should not give up)

Justin Bieber crying in jail cell (via freebieber.org)
Welcome back, brothers and sisters, friends and foes, animals, plant life, and all inhabitants of the universe (and all other dimensions not yet detected by our well trained human scientists).  Thank you for taking my hand, and coming with me on this cosmic journey in pursuit of truth, justice, and the Fungus way.  But I digress (it would be my New Year's resolution to find a less lazy way of segueing into another subject other than saying "I digress", but luckily New Year's is a long way off).

Anyway, I wanted to say that today's post is officially dedicated to Mark the rambling person of http://theramblingperson.blogspot.com who seems to be suffering from a bit of melancholia of late.  We all hope you start feeling better real soon, because quite frankly...we dig what you do.

Now on with our story...

In my vast travels across the internets I came across a website called “If I ever opened a trampoline store, I don't think I'd call it Trampo-Land, because you might think it was a store for tramps, which is not the impression we are trying to convey with our store. On the other hand, we would not prohibit tramps from browsing, or testing the trampolines, unless a tramp's gyrations seemed to be getting out of control".com.
Just kidding.  It's called http://freebieber.org.  It's all about internet censorship, and how powerful forces would indeed like to put the muzzle on our freedom of speech.  "Copyright law is so extreme, just singing somebody else's song in public could be infringement. Because Justin Bieber and his mother posted videos on youtube (which often included copyrighted backing recordings) to advance his music career, it's commercial infringement (which could land Justin Bieber in jail). ...  (In the eyes of the music and movie companies), stricter copyright law = more $$. They liked when people paid $18 for their plastic discs rather than watching wonderful stuff made by people online. They tried to ban the VCR and they'd like to turn the internet into a movie store."

Make no mistake about it at all...  there are powerful forces that know the internet is the last chance to save democracy and freedom, and they would  like to do everything in their power to shut it down completely if they could.  But they will do it incrementally, bit by bit, so the citizenry doesn't even realize what is going on.  The RICH and the POWERFUL have 99% of the power, and they would like to keep it that way... (or actually, they would like all 100%).

I do not exaggerate in the slightest when I say that this is truly an epic battle between good and evil.  Right now we are at a fork in the road of history, where humanity will decide if we continue our journey towards advancement, democratic ideals, and freedom,  or we descend into the dark ages of censorship, corporate fascism, and greed.

How to Fight the Good Fight (and why we should not give up)

Let's face it, kids...the American presidential election is coming up, and the good guys may not win this time (if there even are any good guys), BUT...there is no need to be upset.

"there is no need to be upset" lawn mower/gorilla gif (found on the internets)

As recent elections have shown us,  the rich and powerful are often able to buy the politicians they want to place into power.  So, how do the righteous achieve victory when they are so vastly outfunded....?

I submit to you that we must fight the enemy so that they do not even know we are fighting them.  We must use art, music, humor, satire, etc. as inspirational motivators of the human spirit to change people's hearts, and minds.  For a generation we have been taught "greed is good...greed works."  We have been taught that the biggest bullies always win.  We need to instead spread the message that "united we stand" is a better way to move forward than "divide and conquer."

Only then, when we have won over the hearts and minds of the masses, will we have a chance to win at the ballot box, and restore the former greatness of our nations.

Once again God bless you, and please remember to support your local zoo.

Stay classy, Chicago.

  1. I couldn't have asked for a better post dedicated to me. This is really good, and a great message. One I have tried many times to portray myself. There are a few good men out there. As long as we have Anonymous, and we have Occupy, they can not, and they shall not, win.

    1. I am glad you liked it. "As long as we have Anonymous, and we have Occupy, they can not, and they shall not, win." Amen.

  2. I agree with you that secretly spreading messages through art and song is the best way to change people's minds. I mean, debates are cool to put on, but we all know that you're reading Glamour throughout the whole thing. Right???? ;) lol

    1. What do I need to read Glamour magazine when I can get all my information from raviolisandwaterworks.com ???

  3. This is fantastic! I never knew that we could point out the biggest flaw in our music industry's laws and stars.
We'll have to remind them of it.

And I never knew that you were in the internet war.
I focus myself more in the Financial Meltdown.
You HAVE TO talk of it!

    I awaits.

    1. I have talked a little about the Financial Meltdown in some of my previous articles, but it takes a lot of research to write about the subject with complete accuracy... so it is a tough task.

  4. Right on, cousin homo sapiens! Is your blog banned in China? A lot of blogs can't be viewed in China, of which their owners are justly proud. My blog is banned in Burkina Faso, of which I justly couldn't give a shit.

    1. Congratulations on getting your blog banned in Burkina Faso. I don't know if my blog has been banned in China yet...but I notice my one article on Lady Gaga is surprisingly popular in the Islamic Republic of Iran. I hope I don't get someone's head chopped off by saying that.

  5. Once again well done! I'm not sure if the good guys will win either this time. All we can do is try right? I loved that you finished this

    1. "Support your local zoo" is something I stole from Bersercules (from a podcast with Mark, so I guess Mark gets some of the credit for it too). I don't know if Bersercules noticed I stole it. He hasn't charged me royalty fees yet, anyway.

    2. I was wondering if you got that from me! I thought it wasn't likely cause it was in the middle of a two hour podcast with Mark!! But I guess you listened to it all!

And the song ins't mine, I don't know who made it, all the kids were singing it back when I was in school!

  6. To be honest Jimmy, if I were rich and powerful I'd hang onto as much control as I could as well.

Love the Lennon quote and it's so true the moment you get violent is the moment you hand them the moral authority to deal with you in their way.

  8. I am with you on this. As I am sure I have mentioned before, I am a Rosicrucian. Many believe that within our organization, there exist members who have ties to the NWO. The same people believe this about Freemasonry. I can tell you that this is not true. If I ever these paranoid conspiracy theorists to be right on target...goodbye, suckers! I can't wait to see you fry. You mean to tell me that I will be part of the 500,000 that remain? Yes! Until then, I am on your side.

    1. You have never mentioned you are a Rosicrucian...or if you did, the reference was lost on me. You should write a bit about that, or feel free to tell me more about it. Also, I thought NWO was either a rap group, or a wrestling federation. Oh ok...now I looked it up..."new world order"...yes, I remember being warned about that on the John Ankerberg Show back in the day (I wonder if he is still on the air..hmmmm).

  9. John Lennon said a lot of weird crap in his time. The quote is no exception.

All of this conspiracy is making my head spin... but you are spot on, as usual!

  10. All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.

I always try and fight (peacefullly) on the side of good! Try to educate others to make things better!

As for presidential elections, either American party is corrupt, Americans need to vote a third party in!

I like that Lennon quote and it reminds me of an issue of the comic book Groo the Wanderer I read. In it Groo and a bunch of citezens are all in prison for fighting against the corrupt rulers of the city. And one of the prisoners tells someone to get a message out and have the local puppeteers put on plays that show their plight to help spread the word of their cause!

    1. I'm amazed that a third party candidate hasn't emerged. Either someone is just lying low in the weeds, waiting for the right time to spring onto the political stage... Or everyone is too afraid to challenge the major parties. Groo the Wanderer sounds really interesting, I will have to check it out. And yup, I got "support your local zoo" from the podcast. You guys inspired me! Anywho, I am going to go rustle up some grubb and watch your latest video.
